The Rock Valley College name can be seen in a recent promo video for iTunes University. The video tutorial is featured in an e-mail newsletter sent out by Apple to approximately 10 million people world-wide. This is great exposure for RVC and for our affiliation with iTunes U!

League Convention in Denver was a Success!
About 9 of us from Rock Valley College attended a league convention in Denver last week. Brian and I had a chance to present "Is Your Class on your Student's iPod? Why Not?" The room was packed and people hung out to ask many questions on podcasting.

Cool new Web 2.0 Plugin
I found a cool way for students to interact with you wia a new Web 2.0 application called Drop.io!
Drop.io allows you to give a link (or embed in your web page) to allow your students to upload files, leave a voicemail, send faxes, submit web links, even conference call...all for free.
Here is mine: http://drop.io/asktheprof
Click the below "Add Files" button to try this out!
